History

In 1980, Dr. Claudio D'Alberti established D'Alberti Eye Center, which has become the premiere eye care center in Hudson County. Dr. D'Alberti was the first in New Jersey to perform small incision, no stitch cataract surgery in 1985, when he was recognized as the go-to expert in ophthalmic surgery. He specializes in all modalities of laser surgery including glaucoma surgery, treatment for diabetes and laser vision correction. Additionally, Dr. D'Alberti also specializes in cosmetic eyelid and reconstructive surgery.

Divya Raju, OD Dr. Divya Raju joined D'Alberti Eye Center in February 2017. Dr. Raju graduated from Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences in Whitefield Bangalore India. After graduating from medical school, she worked in several hospital departments such as internal medicine, general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, ophthalmology, ENT, orthopedics, emergency medicine and community medicine. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Raju specializes in comprehensive eye care, pre- and post- operative examinations, ocular disease diagnosis and management, eyeglass and contact lens fittings. She speaks several languages including English, Hindi, Kannada and Telugu.
