History

City Barn Country Penthouse, a farmhouse-themed home, bed, bath, and gift store, opened at 19 Monmouth Street in Red Bank on February 28, 2020. The eighteen-month-old business was previously in the Bell Works building in Holmdel. Owners Carrie Carretta and Rick Giambastini have a love of eclectic design, and sophisticated yet simplistic details which led to the formation of City Barn | Country Penthouse. They decided on the move to Red Bank to take advantage of the downtown's reputation as a boutique shopping destination.
