Camden County Soil Consrvtn
The Camden County Soil Conservation District is a local division of the New Jersey State Government, dedicated to conserving and managing soil and water resources in cooperation with the New Jersey Department of Agriculture State Soil Conservation Committee. They address soil erosion and sedimentation problems resulting from land disturbance activities, stormwater watershed planning and management, and provide educational outreach programs to schools, residents, municipalities, farmers, and builders.
Working closely with the New Jersey Conservation Partnership, the Camden County Soil Conservation District is one of 14 conservation districts in New Jersey. They strive to protect natural resources and promote sustainable practices through their board of supervisors, who oversee all aspects of district operations and implement programs to address local conservation needs.
