Burger Express

Burger Express has been a staple of the Carteret community since 1978 with its original location first opening near the NJ Turnpike entrance. Looking to modernize & promote a more inviting restaurant, BE built a new establishment closer to the waterfront & business district, in 2008. The premise of Burger Express’s food is fresh, fast food made daily. The menu consists of breakfast sandwiches, burgers, fried chicken, side orders & customer favorites like the chicken sandwiches & cheese fries. Additionally, the menu has wraps, salads & veggie alternatives for those looking to eat on the lighter side. Burger Express not only serves food, but promotes family, friendship & community both inside & outside the restaurant. BE proudly supports & sponsors numerous charities, teams & events. These include Carteret Conquers Cancer, CEA, Carteret High School, NJ Special Olympics, Carteret Police, Fire & Rotary, Autism NJ, Gateway School, UCHOF, & Woodbridge Community Outreach & Marching Band.
