The Atlantic City Rescue Mission is a nonprofit, Christian social service ministry providing life-saving care to the poor and homeless in southern New Jersey. The rescue mission provides rehabilitation services to patients with disorders, individuals addicted to alcohol, drugs and gambling, and dispossessed elderly and disabled people. It offers various programs such as 18-month residential addiction recovery, 120-day work readiness program, one-on-one counseling, chapel services, daily Bible studies, job placement, assistance in finding permanent housing and parenting and nutrition classes. The organization is a member of the Association of Gospel Rescue Missions and Christian Stewardship Association. Atlantic City Rescue Mission has its headquarters in Atlantic City, N.J.

Episcopal Community Services, founded in 1870, is a social service and welfare organization. Formally known as the City Mission, it provides housing and support programs for individuals and families. The organization offers in-house health care services for homebound senior citizens and persons with disabilities. It also provides adult education, permanent housing, child literacy and youth development programs. The organization undertakes case management, medication monitoring, advocacy and crisis intervention. It offers counseling and psychiatric assistance to individuals suffering from depression, anxiety and mental disorders and victims of substance abuse, neglect and violence. In addition, the organization organizes workshops, discussions and lectures on parenting tips, child development, and wellness and diseases prevention. Episcopal Community Services is located in Philadelphia, Pa.
