David A. Forlander, MSPT, OCS, CEAS, specializes in evaluating and treating musculoskeletal impairments and sports injuries, postoperative conditions, vertigo problems, and gait and balance issues. A member of the Summit Health Physical Therapy team since 2002, Mr. Forlander is among only 3% of US physical therapists who have a clinical specialist board certification in orthopedic physical therapy.Mr. Forlander notes, "After a thorough evaluation, I teach my patients about their conditions. I then provide hands-on treatment and personalized corrective exercises to help patients achieve their goals quickly. Akram Mustafa, MD, joins Summit Health after completing his residency in internal medicine. Dr. Mustafa is a member of the American College of Physicians and American Medical Association. He has been a volunteer physician and preceptor for JeffHOPE, an organization that supports student-run clinics for the underserved people of Philadelphia.Dr. Mustafa says, "My passion for the sciences and my desire to help people inspired me to become a doctor. I believe that educating my patients so that they understand their condition / disease and treatment plan is key to helping them achieve their health goals."When he is not working with his patients, Dr. Mustafa enjoys spending time with his family and music.
