Avalon Fishing Charters

Full and Half Day Fishing Charters. We have small back bay boats and large offshore sportfishing boats. Trips are limited to maximum 6 persons by USCG regulation. Our half day trips are 4 hours in the back bay and 5 hours in the ocean. This is a great choice for the family and smaller children. We target flounder, blues, and sea bass. The action is typically pretty good, making for a fun outing for all. Offshore adventures for shark, tuna, marlin, and wahoo start at 10 hours, although most are 12-16 hours. Our most popular offshore trip is our 22 hour overnight canyon trip. Tuna fishing can be incredible off the NJ coast in the Summer months.
