Avalon Coffee

History

We took over the old location in July of 2020, in the middle of a nation-wide pandemic and full of uncertainty. That didn't stop us from beginning a long and overdue makeover to this historic building. Avalon Coffee has been an established business on Mechanic St. since the late 1990's. Thanks to Sean Ford and Mike Nestor's hard work and dedication in bringing the best bagels to the southern most tip of New Jersey. We have modernized the space and upgraded the equipment and we couldn't be happier with the results and hope you all are too. We finally opened our doors in late November and so far so good! We have a lot to learn and a lot of changes are going to come down the line but needless to say we are so happy to be here!!

Specialties

Our Cafe specializes in providing customers with a friendly, inviting space to enjoy a cup of coffee and a bagel sandwich. We pride ourselves in outstanding customer service, fresh ingredients, and hot coffee! Feel free to be as honest as possible as we are new to this and still working out the kinks and all feedback is great! Hope to see you soon!
