The Amateur Radio Lighthouse Society (ARLHS) is a global membership organization dedicated to maritime communications, amateur radio, lighthouses, and lightships. With over 1665 members worldwide, ARLHS members travel to lighthouses around the world to operate amateur radio equipment and collect lighthouse QSLs. The society aims to promote public awareness of the role of ham radio and light beacons in maritime safety, preserve the heritage and history of lighthouses, aid in the preservation of endangered lights, recognize lighthouse keepers as maritime heroes, foster camaraderie within the ham fraternity, and provide fellowship among nations and members.

The ARLHS maintains a comprehensive catalog called The World List of Lights (WLOL), which includes over 15,000 entries of lighthouses that are or were Aid to Navigation (ATN) and can accommodate amateur radio operations. Founded in 2000 by Jim Weidner, K2JXW, the ARLHS continues to organize events such as the Spring Lights QSO Party, US National Lighthouse-Lightship Weekend, and Lighthouse Christmas Lights, while also offering various awards and recognition for activators and enthusiasts.
