The farm is steeped in history, featuring the original farmhouse that served as a refuge for many slaves during the Civil War and an authentic tile silo built in 1919.

Originally owned by the Sigler family, the farm gained prominence for its Golden Guernsey milk products before being taken over by Julian Tinkham in the late 1800s.
