Alex J. Addo, MD

A native of Boston, Massachusetts, Dr. Imahiyerobo received his B.A. from Harvard University where he graduated with Honors, cum laude. After also receiving his M.D. from Harvard Medical School, Dr. Imahiyerobo entered the combined Plastic Surgery Residency at New York Presbyterian/Columbia and New York Presbyterian/ Weill Cornell. During his residency, Dr. Imahiyerobo was the recipient of numerous honors and awards, including the Dicran Goulian award for academic excellence in Plastic Surgery, as well as the Weill Cornell Alumni Council award for Distinguished House Staff. During his final year of residency Dr. Imahiyerobo served as chief resident in Plastic Surgery and was recognized by New York Presbyterian Hospital for his outstanding patient care. Dr. Imahiyerobo’s areas of expertise include the treatment of cleft lip, cleft palate, craniosynostosis, frontal facial advancement and orthognathic (jaw) surgery. He also specializes in the care of adult cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the head and neck. He helps lead the Craniofacial Center at Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital, where he is committed to providing comprehensive, cutting-edge, compassionate care to patients of all ages with craniofacial differences. He has completed additional training in Craniofacial and Pediatric Plastic Surgery during his fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. While there, he was an integral part of one of the largest cleft and craniofacial teams in the country. Dr. Imahiyerobo is the author of numerous academic publications. He has been a speaker at national meetings of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, The American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the Plastic Surgery Research Council. In 2014 he was awarded the prestigious Gaspar Anastasi Award for best presentation during the Resident and Fellows Forum at the meeting of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. His current research interest includes the use of innovative approaches to treat global midface hypoplasia and severe Class III malocclusion. Philip George, MD is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Columbia University. He is a board-certified general surgeon who is fellowship-trained in minimally invasive and robotic general surgery. During his residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center, he was elected chief resident and was awarded the prestigious Arthur Aufses Jr. Award for his dedication to surgical research, resident teaching, and excellence in patient care. Dr. George then underwent fellowship training in minimally invasive anti-reflux and hernia surgery at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, Maryland. His unique fellowship training has made him skillful in advanced minimally invasive anti-reflux and hernia repair techniques. These include tissue flap repair of hiatal hernias, transversus abdominis release (TAR), enhanced view totally extraperitoneal hernia repairs (eTEP), and robotic total abdominal wall reconstruction of massive ventral incisional hernias. Prior to accepting the prestigious position at the Columbia Hernia Center, Dr. George worked in central New Jersey, specializing in advanced hernia repair techniques. His research in the field has been presented at national meetings as well as published in peer-reviewed journals. He is also an active member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES). Dr. George offers patients unparalleled communication all while focusing on having the best outcomes possible. Dr. Tal Sarig-Meth is a highly accomplished OB/GYN dedicated to promoting women’s health, confidence, and well-being at every stage of life. She values building strong, trusting relationships with her patients and emphasizes education, open communication, and shared decision-making. Her approach centers on compassionate, individualized care and a deep commitment to prevention and wellness. Dr. Sarig-Meth provides comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care for women from adolescence through the reproductive years and into menopause. She offers full in-office and hospital-based services, including preventive exams, prenatal and postpartum care, and minimally invasive procedures. Dr. Sarig-Meth fostered Columbia Practice capabilities to perform a wide range of in-office diagnostic and therapeutic procedures—allowing patients faster, more accurate diagnoses and convenient, effective treatment. Her areas of expertise include evaluation and management of abnormal uterine bleeding, treatment of intrauterine device (IUD) complications, and uterine assessment for fertility planning and optimization.
