The Whittemore Center Arena opened in November 1995 and hosts UNH events, sporting events, family shows, tradeshows, concerts, and community events. The arena is home to the nationally ranked UNH Wildcats ice hockey program. Go Wildcats!

Lake Whitt is pretty nice. In a huge, generic kind of way. Still, good sight lines, lighting, concessions, and the open concourse make it a solid college hockey rink.
