Tom Burke Memorial Skateboard Park

The Tom Burke Memorial Skateboard Park in Springfield, NH is a community-driven project that was brought to life in memory of Tom Burke, a passionate advocate for outdoor sports and recreational activities for the town's youth. Thanks to the efforts of dedicated individuals like Gertrude A Heath, Maryanne Petrin, and Lynnann Poston, who organized fundraisers and finalized the park's design, this skateboard park has become a reality.

With contributions from various fundraisers and generous donors like Richard Rollinson and Fighter pilot Polly Stedman, as well as the involvement of Zero Gravity and Whaleback, the park elements were set up and built. Selectman John Chiarella played a crucial role in ensuring the park's completion just in time for Eli Burke's high school graduation, allowing him to witness kids enjoying the facility before heading off to college.
