Additionally, Genesis Healthcare provides specialized facilities and programs, including short-term stay, social services and wound care, as well as a care center for patients that suffer from Alzheimer's disease. It organizes various outstanding social activities, including golf cart rides, bingo, day trips, games, crafts, painting, movies, ice cream socials, and special music and entertainment for its residents. Seven Hills at Groton is a pediatric skilled nursing community providing health care to children and young adults who are developmentally delayed and have complex medical needs. It provides medical, nursing, therapy and leisure services. It also offers treatment for children with congenital birth defects, infections and trauma. It also offers special needs educational programs during the day for residents. The center also provides daily activities, skilled nursing and residential, family and community rooms. Additionally, it provides respite care to on-site and offsite residents. Located in Groton, Mass., the center is owned and operated by the Seven Hills Foundation.
