I carefully listen to my patients and offer thorough evaluations and treatments, providing close guidance in managing chronic heart problems. My motivation to enter cardiology stems from the field's complexity, which allows me to make a significant difference in my patients' lives, helping them feel better and live with more energy. I emphasize optimizing overall cardiovascular health and preventing future events through lifestyle counseling and risk factor management. Recognizing the crucial role of families and support systems, I encourage their active participation in the care process. I measure the success of my care by the tangible improvements in my patients’ quality of life, whether it’s helping them feel better after a heart event or preventing adverse cardiovascular health events. The positive feedback I receive, especially when satisfied patients recommend my services to their loved ones, reaffirms the trust and rapport we've built together.

Dartmouth Cancer Center is one of the nation's premier facilities for cancer treatment and research. It is one of only 51 National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer centers in the United States. The Cancer Center provides a positive environment for treatment, cure, and recovery for patients with all forms of cancer. Patients receive technologically advanced cancer treatments and access to clinical trials of new treatments. Each patient is seen as an individual, and a specific treatment plan is developed by specialists who work directly with the patient, family, and referring physician. The Cancer Center is also a leader in improving the comfort and quality of life of patients.

My love for pulmonary medicine stems from the challenges that this field offers. It is a complex subspecialty of medicine that continues to push me and helps me grow as a physician. I appreciate the fast-paced environment of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). It requires physicians to consider the patient as a whole. I also enjoy the camaraderie and teamwork of being in an ICU. I work closely with nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, nutritionists and many others to care for our patients. I want my patients to feel heard and understood, and to know they are receiving the best possible care from our team.
