Beautiful park with tons of trails all over, camping grounds, and a lake to swim in which is so nice during the summer!

Located in Nottingham, N.H., Pawtuckaway State Park is operated by the New Hampshire Division of Parks and Recreation. It offers its campground for family reunions, corporate outings, weddings and several other events. The park offers a variety of landscapes, including a family beach on the Pawtuckaway Lake. It also features amenities, such as cabins, electricity, fire rings and more. Yes there is a 1/2 mile walk to the trail and then 1/2 mile walk back to your parked car no biggie don't let that deter you from doing this hike. Agree there are better views in other parts of NH...

Great place to camp. Staff are helpful and friendly. There's a pavilion available to rent for larger gatherings.

Great place to spend a family day! Nice beach, warm water. Kayak and canoe rentals are a shirt walk away. Hiking and mtb nearby. Definitely go out and explore pristine bays and islands.
