Joint pain from arthritis can have a profound impact on a patient’s quality of life. I’m here to help. I’ve dedicated my career to helping patients reduce knee and hip pain and regain their desired level of activity. I view the patient-physician relationship as a partnership and a privilege. My responsibility in this relationship is giving the patient accurate, up-to-date information about their condition and treatment options. My mission is to provide my patients with compassionate, patient-centered care that will help them achieve their goals and thrive. I’ve recently returned to the good life here in the Upper Valley after spending many years in the hustle and bustle of Silicon Valley. I’ve published on many research topics over the years. I am actively researching applications of machine learning and artificial intelligence in orthopaedics.

I believe in working as a team with my patients, weaving medical knowledge with my patients' and their families' unique needs and concerns. Together we develop a comprehensive care plan. My goal is to help my patients navigate a stressful time by making them feel confident that they are heard, supported, and receiving the best care.

My patients know me for my empathy and thoroughness, but my goals as a psychiatrist go beyond that. I believe in reducing the stigma that surrounds mental health illness. I work to expand access to psychiatric services for all patients. I advocate for and educate my patients and involve them in their treatment plans. I rely on a combination of therapies to help my patients reach their goals, including medication, psychotherapy, and social interventions.
