I advise you not to adopt from this New Hampshire Humane Society in Laconia. We adopted a dog from NHHS a few weekends ago. I believe staff knew our newest family member had an intestinal issue...

This is a fantastic shelter. They rescue local dogs, cats, and other small animals. They also rescue dogs from other parts of the country. The building is a couple years old and is beautiful....

We adopted our two kittens here. Very well run shelter and amazing, caring people who really are dedicated to the animals. Highly recommend.
