When it comes to my patients, we’re a team. It’s us versus their condition. My patients have my full attention as we address not just their symptoms but their health overall. Helping patients in their time of need motivated me to become a dermatologist, especially when it comes to illnesses that are visible to others. My goal is to see health improvements that satisfy my patients. The fact that those patients consider my care to be thorough, gentle and stress-free is an added bonus.

I appreciate the fast-paced environment of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). It requires physicians to consider the patient as a whole. I also enjoy the camaraderie and teamwork of being in an ICU. I work closely with nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, nutritionists and many others to care for our patients. I want my patients to feel heard and understood, and to know they are receiving the best possible care from our team.
