Lost Nation Maple

History
We began sugaring in 2000 with 140 taps, and currently have over 4500 taps with a tubing and vacuum system. All of these taps are located in the beautiful White Mountains of New Hampshire (otherwise known as the Great North Woods region). We have modernized our evaporation system (with a reverse osmosis) and sap collection system to be more efficient but still are small enough to have maintained some old fashion traditions. We boil our sap on an oil fired evaporator in a newly constructed 23 x 20 ft. sugar house.
Specialties
We specialize in producing pure New Hampshire maple syrup, candy, cream, and sugar. Our products are available year round online and in our store. We are located in the beautiful hills of Lost Nation on John Silver Road in Groveton, New Hampshire just 32 miles from the Canadian border and 10 miles from Lancaster, New Hampshire off US Route 3. Visitors are always welcome during our season. It typically runs from February to April (although dependent entirely on the weather). We enjoy showing people how maple syrup is made. Come and enjoy the aroma of boiling sap!
