Rochester Manor offers a range of services for elderly residents. The center offers long-term care for residents affected by accidents or illnesses, such as emphysema, Alzheimer s disease, heart disease and stroke. Its short-term care includes physical, occupational and speech therapies. The center also offers respite care that allows elderly or disabled family members to spend time in an environment staffed by health care professionals 24 hours a day. Assistance is provided with daily living activities, meals, medications and recreational activities. Rochester Manor additionally provides palliative and end-of-life hospice care for residents. An individualized care plan is created for each resident. Clergy and social workers are available to help with spiritual and grief counseling throughout the hospice period.
