My patients know that I am passionate about caring for them. I am interested in them as people, not just as patients, and am excited to learn about their lives and families. I listen intently and without judgment. I want my patients to feel empowered and educated so that they can have the birth experience they desire. I approach giving excellent care from a collaborative, team-based approach. Everyone on the health care team, especially the patient, is vital in assisting the patient with making decisions regarding their care. Patients receive the best care when the entire team works together. It gives me great personal satisfaction to be present with patients during some of the most memorable and transitional periods of their lives. I really just love delivering babies!

I have a passion for seeing women who seek optimal health at all stages of life. I am dedicated to partnering with women to provide individualized, evidenced based care while educating to empowering them.

At the heart of my approach to care is the desire to ensure that my patients feel safe, respected, educated, and empowered to make decisions that align with their unique values and beliefs. I think it's really important that the patient feels supported and comfortable, which often means extending care and education to their loved ones, especially during prenatal care and the labor and delivery experience. My aim is to create a positive, lasting impact on the lives of patients and their families. My passion for midwifery was ignited at a young age when I witnessed the birth of my cousin. That experience led me to pursue a career supporting families during the profound journey of pregnancy, labor, and delivery. After working as a labor and delivery nurse for eight years with many of the Dartmouth Health midwives, I felt called to fulfill my dream of becoming a midwife myself. The most rewarding aspect of my work is the privilege of celebrating and supporting women and families during life's most pivotal moments. I believe the care we provide as midwives can have a lasting impact on the lives of our patients and loved ones. I believe midwifery care has the power to profoundly influence the childbirth experience and beyond. It is a great honor to provide compassionate, personalized care during this time.
