As a family medicine physician, I am able to provide comprehensive care for the whole family. I enjoy teaching patients about their health and medical conditions. I like to partner with my patients to find a solution that makes sense for their lifestyle. When specialists are needed, I help explain their recommendations. I also help patients navigate the healthcare system and advocate for them when needed. I love building relationships with patients and their families. I value both celebrating milestones together and being a resource when life isn't going as planned.

As a family medicine physician, I am committed to providing comprehensive care. By getting to know you, your family and community, it helps me give you the best care possible. As a physician, I see myself in a partnership with my patients - finding a balance of supporting their ownership of their health and healthcare decisions, while also advising them on the best available medical practices. As a primary care provider, preventative care is an important part of my practice. In an appointment with me, I want you to feel heard, understood, and empowered to make choices that are right for you. I'm here to support you at every stage of life, no matter what life throws at you.

My goal is to help patients and their families navigate the complicated medical landscape of the teenage years. As I get to know patients and their goals, I am able to provide them and their families with evidence-based information about medical concerns specific to adolescence. Then I am able to support them in making decisions about their own healthcare. I wanted to work with teenagers because it is such an exciting and important time in someone’s life. Teens are on the cusp of independence. They are starting to understand themselves better, and learning to advocate for their own healthcare needs. It’s also a time when the decisions they make can have a significant impact on the rest of their lives. Providing education is an important part of what I do, and as an adolescent medicine provider, I am able to empower my patients with information about their own health and choices. For me, a successful outcome is knowing that the patient and family leave the visit feeling like their questions were answered and they were supported in their decision-making. I want my patients to feel like they were given the information they need to make their own informed choices about their bodies.
