History

Both Kurt & I have a love of animals. Kurt's started in his childhood, his parents raised & bred White Shepard's. Beth has had different pets all of her childhood. When she graduated nursing school, after doing research on dog breeds & bought her first Shih Tzu named Artie. He was a little love & after passing at 15 years of age, she always had a missing part of her. When Kurt & Beth we're married, the family decided to get dog & with encouragement from Beth for her love of Artie, they chose Maddie after much searching...

Specialties

We are a very small breeding program, we raise our puppies in our home & underfoot. They are raised in a pack mentality. We have only 4 adult dogs in our home, two of whom that we kept from past litters. We understand completely regarding trying to find a reputable breeder. We also found when we were searching for our Maddie, 5 plus years ago, that many people are doing this for the money & not for the better of the breed. All of our dogs are AKC registered, they are all genetically tested. We waited until they were over 2 years old to begin breeding & they will be our forever pets. They are part of our family. We do not sell or part with our adult dogs. Our Maddie has had her last litter this past Spring 2017. She is being spade but will remain with us as our spoiled pup for her remaining years! Lucy is our second Adult Tzu. She had a litter of only one puppy, in 2016, which we decided to keep since Lucy had an emergency c-section & we had her spayed at that time. Bailey will wait her full two years of growing before we breed her. She makes four Tzu in our home, they are like potato chips, you can't have just one! Abbey is our third Adult dog, she is 3 years old. She was from Maddie's first litter & she is a cream Liver. She had 4 puppies in September 2016. Abbey has skipped January's heat because it is healthier for both her & the puppies she has in upcomjng litters. We have bred her with Ernie K in Rhode Island this past month....
