Established in 1998, St. Ann Rehabilitation and Nursing Center provides a range of medical and health care services for the residents of Dover, Newington, Durham and Portsmouth in New Hampshire. The 50-plus-bed center offers accommodation in semiprivate suites. It specializes in the areas of audiology and podiatry. In addition, St. Ann Rehabilitation and Nursing Center performs joint replacement, cardiac, general and orthopedic surgeries. The center provides treatment for memory-impaired individuals. It offers a variety of counseling, religious support, and wound and pain management solutions. St. Ann Rehabilitation and Nursing Center also serves patient with Alzheimer s disease and dementia problems. The center is a part of New Hampshire Catholic Charities.

Incorporated in 1971, the Kimi Nichols Center is a day habilitation center for adults with developmental disabilities. It offers community support, transportation, case management and nursing care services. The center also provides physical and speech therapies, as well as conducts various day and residential programs. The Kimi Nichols Center maintains a network of volunteers throughout New Hampshire. In addition, it organizes several fundraising programs and events, such as Thanksgiving holidays, Christmas parties and Labor Day and New Year celebrations. The center employs a skilled staff of social workers, counselors, nurses and therapists. The Kimi Nichols Center is located in Plaistow, N.H. It receives financial support from several civic organizations, private foundations and individuals.
