Heart & Lung Center at Portsmouth Regional Hospital

In operation for nearly 10 years, the Heart and Lung Center provides diagnosis, treatment and cardiac rehabilitation services. It performs hundreds of open heart surgeries every year. The center features a cardiac surgery unit that covers an area of nearly 4,000 square feet and includes identical operating suites. The Heart and Lung Center maintains cardiac catheterization laboratories, a meditation chapel, and waiting and private conference rooms. It provides preventive health, screening, disease management, and outpatient and inpatient care services, as well as physical therapy and rehabilitation programs. The center is located in Portsmouth, N.H., and is a part of Portsmouth Regional Hospital, which was founded in 1987. Portsmouth Regional Hospital serves communities throughout New Hampshire, southern Maine and northern Massachusetts.
