Hayward's Ice Cream Stand, established in 1940, is a family-owned and operated business. The company offers ice creams in a variety of flavors, including banana fudge, black raspberry, chocolate chips, snickers, strawberry cheesecake, bubble gum, butter crunch, butter pecan, caramel praline and chocolate. It provides a selection of homemade frozen yogurt in mint truffle, purple panther and vanilla flavors. Came for the ice cream. It's good, not great. The real draw is easy parking and a lot of nice areas to sit and eat, or let kids play. That said, I found it pricey and just ok. 2 scoop dish...

Summer staple homemade ice cream place on Daniel Webster! They always have some crowd even on weekday. Their menu is extensive and also has sundaes and food as well. I can't even finish one...

We gave Hayward's another try after a couple of disappointing visits, and this time was good. Black raspberry ice cream was full of flavor as it should be. Nice scoop size for the price. Beautiful...
