Hunt Community is a full-services, nonprofit continuing care retirement community offering a wide variety of services to seniors. It is a full-service continuing care retirement community offering apartment-style living. Additionally, Hunt Community comprises more than 120 apartments, over 20 assisted living units and nearly 40 nursing home beds. The community center houses gathering areas, courtyard caf and a formal dining room. Its apartment amenities include window coverings and sheers, wall-to-wall carpeting, fully equipped kitchen, climate control for heating and air conditioning, 24-hour emergency response system, smoke detectors and sprinkler systems. The center also offers fitness and wellness center, library, computer with access to the Internet, beauty salon and barbershop, woodworking shop, arts and crafts room, billiards room, on-site check cashing and laboratory services.
