Family Resource Ctr At Gorham

Incorporated in 1997, the Family Resource Center at Gorham offers a variety of programs for the welfare of children, youths and families throughout Coos County in New Hampshire. The center administers after-school programs for more than 250 students in grades one through eight. The Family Resource Center at Gorham coordinates home visiting programs for pregnant women, infants, at risk families, and children with health and behavioral problems. It also conducts substance abuse and suicide prevention workshops and training programs. The center administers a work skill development program for underemployed and unemployed workers. The Family Resource Center at Gorham additionally provides financial information, tax preparation and family assistance services to low-income individuals.
