The choice to pursue Gynecologic Oncology has been driven by my professional passion to provide excellent, evidence-based and compassionate patient care. I strive to be a kind, reliable and positive member of our gynecological oncology team in order to best meet the needs of our community. The nature of gynecological oncology care is rewarding in that Im able to embrace the aspect of continuity of care with each and every patient, forming and building the relationship between physician and patient, gaining their trust and guiding them from diagnosis, through treatment, and onward through their medical journey.

My love for pulmonary medicine stems from the challenges that this field offers. It is a complex subspecialty of medicine that continues to push me and helps me grow as a physician. I appreciate the fast-paced environment of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). It requires physicians to consider the patient as a whole. I also enjoy the camaraderie and teamwork of being in an ICU. I work closely with nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, nutritionists and many others to care for our patients. I want my patients to feel heard and understood, and to know they are receiving the best possible care from our team.
