I am Davey Lewis The Tattooist. I've been tattooing full time since the end of the nineties. My career began with a traditional apprenticeship focusing on sterilization, tattoo specific artwork, machine mechanics, needle construction and building, shop etiquette, and traditional tattoo application techniques. In the last twenty years Ive spent in my trade, Ive traveled coast to coast, tattooing with other dedicated practitioners. Prior to my entry into the tattoo field, I served our country in the United States Air Force as an Aircraft Armament Systems Specialist. Dark Horse Tattoo Parlor is the culmination of my two decades of experience in my beloved industry. Jake LiCausi and Sean Michel tattoo here with me. Come by the shop and pay us a visit. We tattoo by appointment, but gladly accept walk ins whenever the time allows.
