The best part of my job is helping people with complicated pregnancies have a safe delivery. I'm fascinated by the incredible changes that happen in a person's body during pregnancy. Every person's pregnancy journey is different, depending on their unique health concerns and what's important to them. I work with patients and their families to create a plan that supports them and ensures a safe and happy delivery. The most important thing to me is making sure both the mom and the baby are healthy. It is an honor for me to help patients and their families through both the happy and tough times that come with pregnancy. It's also very important to me that pregnant people get care that respects their beliefs and what matters to their family.

I'm committed to giving compassionate, personalized care. I value connecting with families as they seek answers to their child’s cardiac care. The best outcome for me is when a child or family leaves a clinic visit or hospital stay feeling heard, understood, and empowered to handle their unique heart health. It's an honor to see children grow and accomplish amazing things, and I'm grateful to be a part of their journey. I know healthcare can be tricky, so I'm here to support the whole family as they interact with the healthcare system and handle new diagnoses or life-changing events. A positive patient experience is central to how I practice medicine; I like knowing kids of all ages look forward to seeing me and they trust that I'll support them through whatever comes their way.

A simple, warm hello can make all the difference for a patient walking into my office. Strengthening relationships with patients is a pivotal piece of my holistic, evidence-based care model. The same goes for loved ones involved in our visits. I love the connections we form through solid communication. When people feel listened to and respected, they’re more willing to see from a new perspective or consider a lifestyle change. Those lifestyle changes are important for preventing disease. It all ties back to ensuring my patients feel well enough to enjoy their retirement years. Getting to know them on a personal level and preventing disease through education is the best part of my job. It is a privilege to have that level of trust placed in my hands.
