Pillar House additionally provides psychopharmacological, vocational and therapy services. Its community support program employs more than 50 staff members and offers treatment to over 550 patients. The facility is a part of Riverbend Community Mental Health, which was established in 1842 and staffs a team of psychiatrists, nurses, psychologists, social workers and mental health workers. Riverbend Community Mental Health provides psychiatric evaluation and medication services. It runs a range of residential programs for children and seniors.
