I believe in treating people with compassion and always putting the patient first. My goal is to understand each person's unique needs. I work with them through shared decision-making using evidenced-based medicine to find the best solutions. It’s rewarding to work closely with patients and their families to help them understand their condition and treatment plan. As a dermatologist who treats both adults and children, I get to work with people of all ages. I focus on creating a friendly and calm environment to help patients and their families feel relaxed. It brings me great satisfaction when my patients feel comfortable and confident about their care.

The most rewarding aspect of being a nurse practitioner is making a positive difference in someone's care. My role is to provide personalized care plans that focus on my patients' overall well-being. Patients need to better understand their health so they can make informed decisions. I work closely with my patients to support and educate them. Together, we create a realistic plan that fits their needs.

After working as a bedside registered nurse and as a nurse at a summer camp for individuals with disabilities, I became passionate about providing health care to individuals with disabilities. I decided to continue my education to become a family nurse practitioner with additional training in intellectual and developmental disabilities. My goal is to be approachable and easy to talk to, and to provide care that is individualized, compassionate and comprehensive.
