I specialize in lymphoma, myeloma, and cellular therapies, which are rapidly evolving areas of cancer care. I work with my patients to choose the best options based on their unique situations. Whether we use advanced treatments or more traditional methods, I want my patients to feel confident that we're pursuing the most effective plan for them. I value helping patients and their families navigate complex cancer treatments. I want to help patients live their lives with minimal burden from their disease or treatment. My goal is to offer hope and positive outcomes. Positive outcomes can be remission, disease control, or improving patients' well-being during treatment. I provide treatments that address the cancer and also help patients regain a sense of normalcy, strength, and well-being. I want to help my patients feel empowered, informed, and supported every step of the way. Together, we'll navigate the cancer journey.

As an athletic trainer, I learned to care for patients on the field, after their surgery, during their rehabilitation and as they returned to their athletic activity. Participating in this progression motivated me to become a physician assistant in orthopaedic surgery. My background has prepared me to help patients with a wide range of orthopaedic conditions, treatments and goals, including preventing arthritis, helping to heal fractures, preparing for surgery and helping someone with pain be able to enjoy a vacation or wedding. It’s gratifying to help patients return to their everyday and athletic activities. It’s very rewarding to see the difference between when a patient first comes to us, limping or in a wheelchair, and their improvement after treatment, walking normally and getting back to work and family life with less pain.

My work isn’t done until we have a cure for cancer. I’m focused on improving each patient’s experience through customized, research-guided healthcare. I want my patients to know that I am on their side. I do everything I can to ensure they’re well cared for with the latest and greatest in treatment. That includes my research and focus on strategies that prevent metastasis. In my office, each patient is treated based on their one-of-a-kind needs and life circumstances. For those with metastatic disease, helping them live as long and well as possible is my top priority. For individuals in the early stage of the disease, it might mean giving them minimal therapy to cure them without adding long-term side effects. I love watching patients hit important milestones. The times when a patient moves forward—healthy and happy after the strain of cancer—are a win for us all. No matter the situation, we work together. I want my patients to understand what’s happening, why and what their options are. I achieve that by sharing information, listening and empowering my patients to take control of decision-making and their overall health. Knowledge helps manage expectations. It also helps my patients find their strength and voice again. Watching them regain control of their lives is a wonderful thing.
