History

The building was born as a blacksmiths shop. In the 1920's it became a Chrysler dealer (shown above). After that it morphed into various other garages and eventually became REDDING Corp. Initially set up in the 1970's for the purpose of restoring and maintaining antique automobiles, it operated privately with restricted services to the public. In 2008 it opened its doors to the public. In the process it upgraded its tools and equipment to service modern day automobiles. In 2012 Shawn Albee joined the Redding team as an ASE certified technician, facilitating the business being brought into the modern era. Today it has all the diagnostic and electronic wizardry expected from a modern facility. In August 2014, the business evolved further when Shawn and his wife Debbie completed the purchase of the business and is now operating under the name of Albee Automotive Services LLC.
