If you are traveling west on I 80 and don't think you can make it to Reno, this is THE place to stop. It is a very nice Rest Area. If has covered picnic benches, mature trees and a nice park...

Awful spot to drive to in the dark after a long drive. Goes off road under a scary tunnel and pass a private road in the gravel. Do not stop here at night!

Stop stretch your legs it's not the biggest but in the summer time it's shaded and they have a few covered picnic tables. The restrooms are pretty clean and the only ones for a while in any direction.
