Classic straight edge shave begins with a Hot towel applied to the face and bearded areas to loosen the follicles and soften the beard. A pre-shave oil is then applied which softens the hair and lubricates the skin to assist in a smooth razor stroke. Hot Lather is applied to moisturize the skin and give a close and comfortable straight razor shave. After the shave has been completed a Healing balm is applied to calm the skin. Next a cold towel or cold press is applied to close down the pores to prevent oil build up and ingrown hairs. Lastly, a soothing moisturizer is applied all over the face for a clean refreshed shave! Excellent service. Excellent finished product. Cost? $70 shave. $80 haircut. $150 just doesn't make sense. Vinnie is a good guy though.
