Uprising Paragliding

History

Uprising Paragliding was founded in 2006 in Lake Tahoe, NV to fill the need for the growing interest in the sport of paragliding in the Reno & Lake Tahoe locale. Beginning as a solo venture Uprising has grown into a full-fledged free flight school with three full time instructors to meet the needs of the free flight community. The staff of experienced instructors understand the needs of a fledgling pilot and have the ability to accomplish tasks in a professional well rounded manner. What does this mean for the potential student? The ability to be instructed by multiple instructors gives the student a wealth of knowledge to draw from and a better understanding of the skills involved with learning how to fly a paraglider. It also provides more than one set of eyes to insure the safety of each student. With a perfect safety record Uprising Paragliding is proud to produce safe competent pilots with the skills and abilities to ensure them many years of Free-flying excitement.
