History

A special feature about this Log Cabin is its connection to the internationally-famous Bonanza TV series. The land was part of the famous Ponderosa Ranch where Bonanza was filmed for many years and viewed by Cartwright fans from around the world. The home was recently built by the owner of the Ranch. Today, the Lodge is one of the west's best kept secrets and is available for rental, year-round. The views of Lake Tahoe remain just as breathtaking today as they have for centuries gone by.
