Tahoe's Connection for Families (TCF) is dedicated to building a strong community of families in the North Lake Tahoe area. We believe that strong, responsible, respectful parents shape strong, responsible, respectful children. When parents learn and use positive parenting skills, it is less likely that they will have behavioral or educational problems with their children. It is through positive parenting that we can avoid many of the social problems that seem to be plaguing our society today. TCF is a non-profit organization that was founded in 2001 for the specific purpose of providing parent education and to fulfill the need for a program for infants, toddlers and young threes before they enter preschool. Our program offerings include parent education, parent/child classes, open gym, prenatal classes and enrichment classes. TCF is directed by Laurean Meyer, a child development specialist with over 25 years experience in early childhood education and parent education.
