" Going off trail... To educate " Company founder, Capt. Daniel J. Clark spent his youth of 26 years living on the Mississippi River floodplain of Northwestern Illinois. He spent 10 years piloting the Upper Mississippi River before moving to the Lake Mead area where he would invest 16 years hiking the Southern Nevada Mojave Desert. While spending 5 seasons in the tourism industry of Southeast Alaska's Inside Passage, the reality of educational hiking in Southern Nevada was born. 5 years Alaskan Boat Captain / Naturalist
