History

Reno Street Food was one of the first large mobile food vendor events in Reno at the beginning when there were only 6 food trucks. We are committed to raising awareness of street food and educating eaters and drinkers about the great gourmet offerings from mobile street food vendors. Reno Street Food has helped Reno get on the food map and become recognized as a destination for street food. We began as an opportunity for mobile food vendors and restaurants to offer food to the people in the park. Reno Street Food produces Party in the Park at Idlewild Park on Friday nights with artisan and gourmet food trucks, food trailers and pop-up restaurants. Reno Street Food is committed to growing and enhancing the street food and food truck culture of Northern Nevada.

Reno Street Food is the original weekly gourmet street food event in Reno. Reno Street Food operates every Friday night May 23-Oct 3 from 5-9 pm. Join us for a Party in the Park at Idlewild Park with over 25 gourmet food, beer, wine, craft sodas, mixed drinks and craft dessert vendors to serve you weekly. Come hungry, leave full! Live music weekly. Lots of parking. A large playground for the kids. Bring your friends, bring the family, lawn chairs and a blanket. A great place for gatherings and food. Relax in the park, let us cook for you. Lots of grass to sit on with friends and family! Live music and the train is running! Over 2000 people visit at Idlewild Park every Friday night for food trucks and family fun.
