History

Established in 2009. Purple Penguin Snowcone Shack was founded because there was not a place in Henderson or Las Vegas to get a snowcone. For us, snowcones represent summer when we were kids. We decided to create a place that kids can ride their bikes to and families can come to get a treat at a reasonable price. Purple Penguin has been received with open arms by the community. We wanted the Shack to be an experience, meaning that we wanted to bring a bit of our past back to life. The Shack, in the parking lot of a gas station could be just that, or as we see it - a place where family, friends and neighbors can come hang out, say hello, make new friends and see old ones while swapping snowcone stories.
