Mt Olive Lutheran Church & School

History

In 1998, Mount Olive Lutheran Church elected with God's blessing to go forward with a Lutheran Elementary School ministry, and called Jennie Panning to serve as the School Developer. In the fall of 2000, the school opened with 34 students in grades K-5. Our pioneer teachers were Miss Juliene Warner in K-1 and Miss Kristine Heins in 2-5. Pastor Panning served as the school's frst principal. The Lord of the Church has blessed our school with faithful teachers through the years. May God continue to bless the eforts of parents, pastors, and teachers at Mount Olive Lutheran School as we work together to make Christian education possible for our children!

Specialties

Mount Olive is a school and church that exists to share the saving Gospel of our Savior, Jesus Christ. We offer a high-quality and Christ-centered educational program to the students entrusted to our care. With class sizes that do not exceed 22 students (18 in Kindergarten and first grade) and highly qualified teachers and staff, Mount Olive is an excellent alternative to public schools at a much lower cost than many other private schools.
