Las Vegas Street Department

The Streets and Sanitation Division, governed by the Public Works Department, offers street rehabilitation, sidewalk repair and sanitation services. It provides street sweeping solutions, as well as maintains potholes and drains. The department plans, designs, constructs, operates and maintains city public use facilities, roadway and traffic networks, and wastewater and stormwater management systems. The Public Works Department, governed by the City of Las Vegas in Nevada, regulates private development and manages wastewater treatment for cities. It is also responsible for the safe and orderly movement of vehicles and pedestrians through a range of traffic devices, including traffic signals, stop signs, school zones and speed humps.
