Happy Earth Market

History

We started developing the concept in 2015 and decided to invest all of our personal money to open up for the community. In September, we received the keys to our window wrapped suite located in historic Commercial Center. Since this business is built for the community, we asked for their help. Within 2 months, we were gifted time, talent, and treasure. We had our soft opening on 11/11 and established our first ETH (Entertainer/Teacher/Healer) and Market Memberships, bringing our first foot traffic to a much needed forgotten shopping center. On 12/30/2017 we hosted our Grand Beginning Costume Party which would eventually evolve into our 3rd Saturday Bazaar that continues today. Members change monthly, but you can still find our OGs that were supporting this unique space since the beginning.

Specialties

At Happy Earth Market, you will find a unique place to call home. This space is used as a venue for many different activities meant to heal, enlighten, and have fun in, hosted by local members. The market hosts a variety of handmade items by local entrepreneurs who strive to create a living by selling recycled or re-purposed materials in order to ensure a sustainable future for all of us. Everything made is SAFE, meaning it has not been produced by common day slave labor or precious finite resources from our Mother Earth and does not contain mysterious ingredients that you need to google in order to see if it will give you cancer. The art and other gifts change on a monthly rotation and directly support the artist or entrepreneur. Shopping for all your gifts here will give you maximum karma points, if you believe in such things. :)
