Grandma's Fudge Factory

Store Grandma's Fudge opened its doors in Virginia City 42 years ago, with a small nest egg from a loving grandmother, lots of hard work, and a healthy dose of determination. It started simply with an old family recipe, some well-worn copper pots, and the very best in chocolate, vanilla, nuts, whipping cream, and butter. Although we have expanded and remodeled several times over the years, we still occupy the same century-old building overlooking the mountains today. Our fudge is still made daily from scratch in the old fashioned, hand-paddled way. Grandma's carries a wide variety of candies now, from brittles to caramel, to toffee to barks, but they share the same basics. They are all cooked by hand in a shining copper kettle using pure, honest ingredients and no preservatives. Grandma's Fudge remains a family business and while the original grandmother was not our grandmother, we are committed to maintaining her high standards. The tradition of uncompromising quality and good service begun so many years ago continues today.
