G.L.E.A.N. Winnemucca

History

rLm Ranch started raising steers and chickens in 2010 when they moved into their home that had a small pasture next to it. Since then, they have continued to provide eggs, beef, pork & more from their harvests. In 2013, they began to participate in the Winnemucca Farmers Market and most recently spearheaded the GLEAN Program in Winnemucca which they hope will coordinate the efforts of small farmers in their area to grow specifically and purposefully for the Winnemucca community, promote local eating, promote and educate about eating the 'ugly' produce that some folks aren't used to seeing in our supermarkets, provide access to the hungry and more needy community members through donations and encourage businesses and restaurants to offer discarded food back to the farmers for composting purposes to eliminate food waste.

Specialties

We sell seasonal veggies, eggs, homegrown beef, pork, lamb & poultry. We do NOT carry a supply of these items - we grow them for you & you partake in the harvest. Pre-orders accepted as supply allows.
