Gilcrease Nature Sanctuary

This is a great place to go and take the whole family to. It was not crowded whatsoever the prices are so good it's $10 for adult $5 for any child under 17 years old. They have a lot of animals....

The animals are in tiny cages. The saddest part about this are the macaws who are in a room all together and some of them had missing feathers in some spots. It's really sad seeing these animals....

There were a lot of birds, which I love! My husband and I went and had a good time. They have quite a few parrots (macaws - of all colors, moluccans, umbrellas, African greys and smaller birds....

Feeling so mixed about this place. The animal habitats were a bit sad and everything is run down. But I appreciate they are trying and said improvements are coming soon. Staff were sweet...
